Home Health Services
Home Health Care Defined
Imagine if a nurse or a therapist could bring you skilled care at home while teaching you how to live more independently so you can stay in your home. That’s what home healthcare is all about. Our home healthcare services can help you rehabilitate from medical events like stroke, disease, or any type of surgery. We can also help you manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, COPD or arthritis. Simply put, home healthcare from AMHA helps you recover, remain at home, and live your life to its fullest at where you will tend to recover the quickest and happiest.
There are a lot of things about home healthcare that you may not realize if you’re looking into it for the first time. First of all, it’s one of the most underutilized and valuable Medicare benefits out there. But it’s also one of the most misunderstood. AMHA home healthcare is not a sitting service. Instead it is highly skilled care that comes to you at home. Our mission is to deliver compassionate home healthcare and community based services to enhance the quality of life for those we serve. We work with your physician to carry out their orders and serve as their eyes and ears. Most importantly, we deliver compassionate care from the heart where you want to be cared for most – right in the comfort of home.
The Cost of Home Health Care
If you are covered under Medicare A benefits, our services may be available at no cost to you. We also accept many private payers insurances and continue to add new payers for our patients’ needs. We also accept cash, checks, Visa, and Mastercard. Please don’t let the cost be the determination of quality care for you or your love ones. We are one of the few home healthcare that have our own Not for Profit organization, Care of AZ, that will assist in providing quality healthcare to those facing financial hardship. Compassionate and quality healthcare should not only be available for those who can afford it, it is the responsibility of our healthcare community to provide it for all in their times of need. Please contact AMHA at 480-359-3998 and we’ll be glad to discuss your individual situation with you.
